Nestled in the heart of Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, overlooking the Royal Canal, The Lock Keeper can be found at Lock #10. Steeped in heritage, this double lock was constructed c.1792. With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. The decor is very upper class and so comfortable. The spacing is perfect which allows the absolute dinning experience. Staff are so friendly and give that personal touch. Food was amazing, would definitely visit again.

Every time we’ve been to the Betsy we have had a great experience the staff are excellent so attentive and friendly and the food is always fantastic would highly recommend!

Very good place, but when we arrive at the table we are not informed of the time we have to leave, so we order more drinks and beverages, after that the waitress informs us that we have to leave the table in 20 minutes, already bringing the bill and informing us that we have to leave the table, without being able to finish eating our food and having our drink!! I do not recommend it
