Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes. The staff is always very friendly and so kind. The sushi is always top notch and melts in your mouth. The only sad part is that most everything was sold out by Saturday night. Four to five of the items that we were trying to order were already sold out by the time with got to dinner at 7:00pm. I've had sushi in Seattle, Baltimore, San Fransico, and Seoul, South Korea, and Izakaya Den is easily my top choice in sushi.

Came here for our anniversary and to say that our experience was outstanding would be an understatement. Our waiter, Scott, was incredibly nice and accommodating. The staff checked on us frequently and ensured that we were cared for during our dinner. You will no doubt leave this place with a full stomach and a smile from ear to ear. We will definitely be back for future occasions.

Highest quality sushi around, with a lot of unique appetizers/starters and cocktails. Great atmosphere, and a great place that i try to visit whenever i am in Denver or Vail.

It was a fun evening with excellent service & food. I felt the $7 extra fee for fried rice was excessive. Overall a fun night out although you pay premium for the food & cooking show. I’d prefer smaller portions & lower prices .
