The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. This was our second visit to the Northbrook Arms and once again it was a great experience. The welcome was very friendly, the choice of food and drinks was varied and the interior of the building is laid out beautifully. The food was cooked to perfection, well presented and absolutely delicious - and served with a smile.
