It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter.     Excellent service. Live music by a very talented musician. The vocals! The live music softly plays throughout the restaurant. Food is well prepared and presented. Our cocktails and mocktails thoughtfully curated by Ashley and paired beautifully with our apps and entrees. Alexis made the evening extra special. I highly recommend for a casual or special evening.

    I have always enjoyed bluestone. The server was excellent. I was disappointed with the quality of the food and as I was hosting this business event, I did not want to say anything. My meal the turkey Montecristo was cold and some of it un edible. Otherwise, things were OK. Not sure how quickly I will return.

    Our server Carrie was outstanding! She was knowledgeable, pleasant and on point. I had the Jake and roasted cauliflower salad, my husband had the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. We mentioned it was 3 months that we were married she comped us a round of wine as a congratulations. The manager also came by to offer congrats. Dessert was crème brûlée, she served it with a candle on the side with whipped cream. Very yummy! Our date night was perfect!
