Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. Excellent date night. Food was tasty and inventive. The dumpling wrappers and the Malaysian noodles were a bit too thick and chewy for my taste but the flavors were amazing and really well blended. Excellent service. The best I’ve had in a really long time. Dishes were timed perfectly and they even gave us a complimentary anniversary dessert, which was our favorite dish of the night! Highly recommend.
