On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. We had a great lunch out today with a group of 10 people and our server - Jacob - was amazing and couldn't do enough for us.; he was the right side of attentive without being intrusive, and so so patient when we took an age to sort out the bill (thank you!). Thank you also to Nadia who took care of one of our party who was ill - very patient & kind. The food was nice - one of our party didn't think she had blue cheese on a burger special, but it was all very enjoyable and to a good standard. It was very buzzy in the bar, so sometimes we struggled to hear each other, but we went with the flow and we'll definitely come back again. Thanks everyone - especially Jacob - for making our girls reunion a smashing success.

Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We had the Sunday roast £25 offer which was good value for money and very tasty. The jazz singer was lovely too. The only thing is it gets incredibly noisy because of the high ceilings and industrial design. Would recommend though because of service and food.
