Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. A refreshingly different menu using seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed everything we ordered which was more filling than we had expected. (Had to take some home in a doggy bag). Quite expensive for what we had but I am slowly getting used to having to pay more, quite a lot more, in good restaurants these days. Service was excellent and ambience was great.

Loved the experience but meal was a bit ruined by adding heavily fishy broccoli as a side to a beef cheek dish. We didn’t realise the side came with the fishy topping. :( Thought the portions of main were small for price point. Charming staff and really glad we visited! Thanks!
