A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. A refreshingly different menu using seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed everything we ordered which was more filling than we had expected. (Had to take some home in a doggy bag). Quite expensive for what we had but I am slowly getting used to having to pay more, quite a lot more, in good restaurants these days. Service was excellent and ambience was great.

We we visited on my wife’s birthday on the 23rd of December. The food was outstanding and the service provided by Elliot was first class. A very hospitable host who made the occasion very special thank you for nice afternoon.
