The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years.     We had a wonderful evening at Hawksmoor, Air Street. I am coeliac and our server Lanka was truly amazing. She spoke with the kitchen and came back and went through the menu explaining what I could have, what I couldn’t (which wasn’t many items) and what could be adapted for my dietary needs. She was brilliant and looked after our table of 6 all evening with a smile and a relaxed chat even though the restaurant was busy. Love eating at the Hawksmoor and will be back again not just for the great food but for the welcome and service.

    Our whole experience was perfect! The restaurant was beautifully decorated both inside and out, and the ambience was fantastic. All staff were great, attentive, friendly and smiley! Food was amazing, best meal I've had in a long time and will definitely be back! Considering all this, the price was reasonable too! Well done OCB, you have got it very right, thank you!

    Booked 100 Wardour Street for a birthday dinner with friends. Amazing staff, amazing service and lovely food. It was so lovely to not be rushed off our table like so many restaurants do in December, and the set menu was delicious. They brought everything to our table with a good time in between without feeling like they were in a hurry to get rid of us. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back! Great love entertainment too!

    Absolutely delicious food and delightful service. Can thoroughly recommend for a great night out or even in our case a pre theatre dinner. Tonight there was also a great vibe and atmosphere l guess due to the fact it’s nearly Christmas.
