Flesh & Buns Covent Garden, from the team behind Bone Daddies and Shackfuyu, is located within the bustling Seven Dials area in Covent Garden. Inspired by Japanese izakayas, roughly translated as a pub or place designed for informal eating and drinking, Flesh & Buns is the first restaurant in London to specialise in gua bao buns (DIY filled steamed buns).     I’ve been once before and was generally impressed so when l was looking to find somewhere to eat, having booked tickets to go to the Royal Opera House, l had no hesitation in suggesting same as Restaurant to my companion. She was a little hesitant because she does not have a penchant for Sushi. I suggested she would find other things she would like and, indeed, she did. We had a lovely time and had great food and great service. We decided it was a perfect venue for what we were doing. JD

    Wow what a night. Was an incredible meal start to finish. Everything was cooked beautifully. Starters were fantastic the Vietnamese oysters with pork belly which was fall apart tender. The main event was a great cut of rib-eye which was cooked superbly. Overall service was fantastic and just a wonderful evening. Would certainly recommend.

    The staff was amazing !! Perfect atmosphere; the cannelloni & ham/pine apple pizza was incredible!!! The staff gave us an amazing sticky toffee pudding for our anniversary!!! Absolutely lovely!!! Thank you so much!!
