The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Loved our Christmas Eve Dinner at Benihana in Arcadia! There was an unexpected 30-minute wait for our table but it was all good, the place was packed and noisy and fun. I was surprised the meal and presentation seemed identical to what I remember from 20+ years ago - they have a game plan and they are sticking to it! Highly recommended!

My family and I came here to celebrate an early Christmas Eve lunch. The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful and really filled the restaurant with the perfect ambiance. We ordered French onion soup, sea bass, prime rib and the rack of lamb. All the food was delicious and left my family with full stomachs. Our host, Johnny, was very attentive and popped in just the right amount to check on us without being intrusive. My family agreed we wouldn't hesitate to come back to celebrate another special occasion.
