The taste everything option for a fixed price is the only way to go. We enjoyed everything we ate (and drank). The mood was energetic and lively - a desired option for many on a Tuesday night. This was my second trip to this Ambar location. (Capitol Hill is also great). This won’t be my last trip, but one of many.

The entire experience was great. Amin, our server, was wonderful. The food was fabulous and the ambience of the restaurant was wonderful. I would strongly recommend dining here. One of the best meals ever.

Filomena does not disappoint! Always perfectly cooked pasta, chicken and seafood. The place is already decorated for Christmas which makes it quite an experience with a polar bear dressed in his best and Santa not to mention all the streamers and stuff hanging from the ceiling. No place like it. Only downside is they fill the place up and it gets tight and warm down in that basement. A must for any trip to DC and Georgetown!

Wow, as advertised, great host, server, manager!!!! The food we ordered was all superb!!! Crab cake to start, wife ordered the meatloaf, I had the short rib stroganoff. We had reservations and thankful we thought ahead, the 1330 lunch rush was visible on the weekend. I ordered a bloody mary, only portion of the meal which I thought lacked attention. Manager passed by the table and was very nice!!! Thank you for the Carrot cake, it was phenomenal. Highly would recommend and glad we came!!!

Very cute little place. I usually head for DC when I want a dinner out, but this was a nice experience with parking on site in the close in suburbs. I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was because the menu was huge and wide ranging. I had the butternut squash ravioli in red pepper sauce and it was excellent. My husband's duck could have been a bit less cooked and cut more evenly, but the flavor was delicious and I would order that if I went back. The sauteed calamari was fresh and the sauce light and flavorful I really judge a restaurant on this dish, because I've had so much rubbery calamari. This was tender and perfectly cooked. Recommend as a great alternative to Ubering into the city if you want a nice dinner in Arlington.
