The Seven Stars is a 16th century country inn situated in the heart of Surrey, close to both Dorking and Reigate, with Gatwick airport seven miles away. It has wealth of character which includes a large inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings, recently renovated gardens and patios along with ample parking.An extension that now forms the main dining area was completed in 1996 and won the British Heritage Development Award for that year.The Seven Stars has a great atmosphere, we have strived to keep it a village pub where friends and locals meet up to wine, dine and and enjoy freshly cooked food, sourced from the local area. The menu offers a good selection across the four courses. There were five people in our party and everyone was very happy with the food and the service which was attentive but not obsequious. Each course had perfectly balanced and well considered flavours and presentation was excellent. the wine list offers a good range of choice with some slightly eclectic choices. Its a definite celebration venue which we look forward to returning to.

A relatively quiet Saturday lunch with superb baguettes and a side of chips that were some of the nicest I have had for a while. Lovely beer and toilets that were spotless topped it off
