Spanning 6 decades and three generations, Il Portico Restaurant on Kensington High Street has been cooking regional Italian specialities since it was first opened in the 1960"s by acclaimed chef Pino Chiavarini. Food was delicious and beautifully cooked. Portion sizes were just right and there was plenty of choice. Service was friendly, attentive and quick. Went for the valentines special menu and although it seemed a little pricier compared to the normal menu it still felt good value for the quality and amount that we ate. Appreciated the non alcoholic beverage options. Plenty to choose from and we had a very tasty mocktail. I would recommend highly and will definitely come again.

Lovely as always. Kept getting our table numbers wrong and delivering wrong drinks but waiters were great and food is always lovely. I’ve dropped my rating for value as I swear the portions are getting smaller (fish parmentier definitely!)
