Our pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and an ‘Olde Worlde’ feel.     We were greeted with a smile , shown to our lovely table and served amazing, constantly asked if we needed anything all along with amazing food and drinks. Absolutely brilliant job to the two young ladies that looked after us throughout our visit.

    Christmas lunch with sister and brother in law. Ordered from Christmas menu. We all had different main meals and all of them were really nicely presented, tasted lovely and served by two young ladies who were both extremely pleasant. Nothing to fault. Have been twice before with my sister and we're never disappointed.

    Excellent service friendly staff. Food was exceptional especially the fish and chips it was so fresh and the batter was lovely and light along with a variety of sauces and homemade chunk chips. The seating area was Warm and cosy next to the log fire. We got to speak to the owner who is also the chef. Such a delight cannot thank you enough we will be back!

    Absolutely incredible - as always. My partner and I always pick The Fountain for special occasions and it never disappoints, incredible food, incredibly friendly and polite staff - you genuinely can’t get any better.

    Great food, drink and service. Such a shame that the storm brought a power cut to the village before we got desert and coffee. Candles lit and open fire made for a lovely atmosphere.
