A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

A unique little restaurant with a good vibe. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Mains were reasonably priced but sides felt expensive for the size portion (red cabbage for example). The meat eaters enjoyed their mains (pork belly/chicken supreme) but I wouldn’t recommend place for vegetarians. Only one main (celeriac steak) that really wasn’t very nice. I’ve been vegetarian for 25plus years and don’t consider myself picky but I couldn’t finish it. I would go back if the vegetarian options were improved/more diverse.

Good parking availability. Friendly staff and they know their food, which they can explain what the dishes are. Very good service, staff kept checking and make sure your water are topped up. Good quality food, definitely enough for a normal person. Tried the fish and chips and it was perfectly cooked.

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.
