August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. We also offer a range of private dining experiences, and can accommodate 60 seated guests, or up to 100 for reception-style events. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

What was once a rowdy sailor’s drinking den has been transformed into a civilised gastro pub complete with a separate and impressive function and convention facility that can cater for up to 200 guests. This iconic South Bank hotel was constructed in 1864 and has developed a reputation as a lamb lover’s paradise. Our classic pub style menu boasts mouth watering dishes for all dining tastes.     The staff was so happy and friendly and very obliging with some changes to what was offered on the menu. eg I ordered Steak but it came with veges etc and I just wanted a salad which they happily provided.

    Honestly Richlandsnis Our Go To Buffet for any occasion whether a Birthday Celebration,Get Together or just To Eat Out. And Time & Time again the food is Outstanding and Amazing and we leave with smiles & happy tummies🥹🙏🏽Waitresses & Waiters are always so kind & generous, only time we feel down is when the kitchen closes at 2:30 & re-opens 5pm and closes at 8/9pm again🤣🤣

    This was our third visit to Sasso & thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Was quite busy for a Monday night but we were served in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble. We have the Arancini balls - lovely & CRISP!! Followed by Rigatoni Amatriciana & Spaghetti Allo Scoglio followed by Tiramisu to share. Wines also lovely. We went for the Italian prossecco followed by a lovely Chianti. Will be back 🫶
