Please note, guest request are not guaranteed. You can request to be seated on the terrace, but it's not guaranteed as these tables are open to the elements. On a sunny day, tables are allocated outside based on the date the booking was made (early birds!) We will do our upmost to accommodate you outside if we can. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Crispy beer battered fish and specials such as sea bass, turbot and whole lobster, is caught in the morning and delivered fresh to us on the same day.

    Family Sunday roast lunch for 6: 4 roast sirloin , 1 roast pork with crackling & 1 roast lamb. They all came with mixed veg of mange toute, roast carrots and broccoli, plus roast pots, cauliflower cheese and large individual Yorkshire puddings and were of good quality and well cooked. This resulted in 6 empty plates. The service was friendly and efficient.

    We visit the Black Horse about once a year as it is a great midway point between us in London and friends from the midlands. The food and service never disappoint. I had the buffalo chicken wings to start which were a great sized portion and lovely and spicy. Between us we had a range of burgers and a couple of kids meals, all were delicious. We look forward as always to our next visit.

    Food was so good and staff were very friendly. It was a bit empty but we went on Christmas Eve lunch so makes sense.

    This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.
