It's perfect for a drink after work and as somewhere to meet eat and drink with friends. The Swan combines classic pub grub with modern brasserie dishes. We serve food all day. The Three Cranes is a beautiful Grade II listed building with classic features in the centre of the charming village of Turvey.Nestled in the rolling countryside between Bedford, Milton Keynes and Northampton, Turvey is a beautiful, historical village on the river Ouse at the centre of a network of country paths. It has many historical stone buildings and is centred around the ancient manor, Turvey House. We serve food freshly prepared from high quality ingredients with a focus on local sourcing. We always provide at least three vegan options and source fresh fish on a daily basis, based on the catches of the day and use these to create daily fish specials. We are a free house and always serve a selection of real ales.

    Such a lovely welcome, the door was held open when we arrived before we even got close to the entrance. Equally when my partner went outside to settle our baby, again the door was held open when he was ready to come back in. The preempting and attentiveness was spot on, a great touch. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Service was lovely, staff really accommodating with us having small children. Great to see previous feedback by another customer had been taken onboard about it being chilly by the door and a powerful heater was in situ. We can’t wait to come back as a couple for a date night minus the baby for the taster menu. Thank you

    As a regular Swan diner each visit is a pleasurable experience and this was exemplary. Table service was truly attentive without being obtrusive and the meals arrived hot and in a timely manner. Well done!
