Just a stones throw from the iconic Groombridge Place and only a 10 minute drive from Tunbridge wells Our is also available for hire and we have an amazing private space perfect for celebrations. There are plenty of activities on our doorstep with wonderful walks and the picturesque Forest Way trail close. Groombridge also benefits from having Harrisons Rocks for keen climbers and the perfect cycling routes across the Ashdown Forest. If this all sounds too energetic then just relax and chill watching the cricket from our front terrace, perfect for a lazy weekend afternoon.

The Bricklayers Arms is a delightful lakeside public house, comprising three terraced cottages in a charming Kent village. The pub is situated at the end of the picturesque Darent Valley Walk. The sign represents Sir Winston Churchill, an expert bricklayer and whose home was at nearby Chartwell.We pride ourselves on getting involved with the local community and providing a warm and friendly welcome to our visitors. We serve Harvey's Best Bitter straight from the barrel, a fantastic range of wine and beautifully home cooked British pub food. Situated in the beautiful grounds of Wildernesse House is the Pavilion restaurant. Our chef prepares delicious dishes with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce. When booking a table in the evening, please be aware that we are a residential home and as such we ask that guests depart the restaurant by 09:00pm and have consideration for our neighbor's when leaving.Please be aware when visiting that there is a security gate on entry, the code for which is written on the gate, you will need to exit your vehicle to input the code. You will find the Pavilion restaurant next to the main house, opposite the Mews Houses. Ample parking available.Please be aware that our disabled lift is currently out of order. If you require disabled access please notify us ahead of time and we can advise the best place to park.

Lovely dog friendly pub. Very cosy and inviting, all the staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The menu consisted of pub classics and many delicious unique dishes like beef cheek bourguignon. All the food in the pub smelt amazing to be honest. Would definitely visit again.

Myself and 3 friends have a very enjoyable evening on Saturday. The reason I chose The Brasserie was that it had both vegetarian and gluten free options which we needed. Unfortunately there were no gluten free buns available for the burger and also no gluten free brownie. We all felt this was very disappointing and my friend who suffers from coeliac disease only had the starter she wanted available to her. It definitely was not gluten free friendly on Saturday night
