The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. Everything was perfect. The black truffle and ricotta ravioli were River Cafe delicious. Excellent service and a warm, friendly vibe. Highly recommended.

On recommendation, we booked for 8pm and were met promptly and politely by the FOH Staff and led upstairs - the room was really pleasant, the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Started with a couple of cocktails then the scallops which we shared then the bream and the sole. Both were excellent. We had the Chardonnay from the ‘other wines’ list and it matched perfectly. Finished with asking if they could make a Widow’s Kiss cocktail (they could and it was great) I didn’t know there was a ‘downstairs’ but we were shown it, it looked as relaxing as upstairs. What was funny was my jacket seemed to catch people’s attention - it’s an action-backed tweed sports jacket, if you’re interested! Yeah, we liked it. We will be back.
