The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. The restaurant was a little hard to find but all perfect once we did. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Our starters and mains were delicious and Leela who looked after us was fantastic. Thanks so much for taking note of my booking message as well and the nice Birthday surprise for my partner. Would definitely visit again, can't wait to try more of the menu!

Fabulous food. If you like chops and steaks, this is a great restaurant. The meat is top quality and superbly seasoned. Really great vibe in the restaurant and the service was top notch - friendly, helpful and fast. Great part of town too, so you really feel like you're getting a proper London experience. Loved it and can thoroughly recommend it.

Wonderful fillet steak - perfectly cooked and a really nice peppery kick - with fries, followed by a Jerusalem artichoke and caramel soft-serve both interesting and comforting.
