Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour.     The restaurant was a little hard to find but all perfect once we did. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Our starters and mains were delicious and Leela who looked after us was fantastic. Thanks so much for taking note of my booking message as well and the nice Birthday surprise for my partner. Would definitely visit again, can't wait to try more of the menu!

    Great evening for our family party of 6 which included a 5 year old. Food all very good. Fish curry, sea bass, fish & chips, kids cheeseburger mains. We shared chicken wings and beetroot hummus starters Draft beers and very decent Sauvignon Blanc. It was the week before Christmas, there were crackers on the table, Christmas music playing and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended we will return. Thank you!

    Fabulous food. If you like chops and steaks, this is a great restaurant. The meat is top quality and superbly seasoned. Really great vibe in the restaurant and the service was top notch - friendly, helpful and fast. Great part of town too, so you really feel like you're getting a proper London experience. Loved it and can thoroughly recommend it.

    Loved the experience but meal was a bit ruined by adding heavily fishy broccoli as a side to a beef cheek dish. We didn’t realise the side came with the fishy topping. :( Thought the portions of main were small for price point. Charming staff and really glad we visited! Thanks!

    7 of us had a pre-Christmas family get together. The Ladbroke Arms never disappoints. The menu was varied and interesting - catering for everyone - the brown prawn crumpet was amazing, the burger is always great and the flatiron steak amazing too. The staff are lovely and also efficient - even when the place is packed. Atmosphere is just great - a mix of ages, lively but you can still have a conversation. Exceptional value for money and just a great evening. Well done!
