The Britannia is Richmonds leading independent restaurant and bar. Located in the centre of town and down a very pretty cobbled alleyway, we are next to historic Richmond Green and two minutes from the Waterside.We have two large outside spaces - A roof terrace for traditional dining and a garden that lends itself to drinks and lighter fare. The bar inside is cosy with the bustle of a busy space and the upstairs restaurant tables have white cloths and lamps for a more intimate feel.Serving Day Boat Fish and Chips to grilled Lobster, Vegan and Vegetarian dishes along with award winning Mackens of Chiswick Steaks, simply the finest food in the area. The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. We also have two outside areas, a perfect spot for a drink or bite whilst watching the world go by.

Welcome to The Grove. A modern gastro pub serving a selection of contemporary and classic dishes. We offer a casual dining area with full table service, and a large bar area with assisted service. We are a dog friendly pub as long as they are with well behaved hoomans but we don't allow dogs in our dining area, if you would like to bring a four-legged friend, let us know and we can seat you in our bar area or garden.We accept bookings up to 6 inside, multiple bookings cannot be made for the same party. Harvey, our waiter was very attentive and showed an interest in the menu choices too making the selection process much easier for all. The setting of the restaurant is fabulous and overall it was such a pleasant lunch. I will be coming back again soon maybe even before Xmas if I can get in. Thanks again.

Atmospheric location and cosy environment. The choice and quality of the food was very good but it was the service that was excellent. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive.
