Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. An excellent meal start to finish, after the tiniest of hiccups with seating for our reservation. Sumptuous flavors, deliciously presented- from California rolls to tempura, short ribs to fried rice and the must have “GFC.” Beyond our expectations!!!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more - to have our first experience here on Christmas Eve really was wonderful - all of the team working were fantastic and they made our visit truly amazing and the food was unreal - we had caviar as a pre-starter to share, followed by the cheese soufflé and then the out of this world like butter melting in your mouth beef wellington

The restaurant was a little hard to find but all perfect once we did. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Our starters and mains were delicious and Leela who looked after us was fantastic. Thanks so much for taking note of my booking message as well and the nice Birthday surprise for my partner. Would definitely visit again, can't wait to try more of the menu!

Loved the experience but meal was a bit ruined by adding heavily fishy broccoli as a side to a beef cheek dish. We didn’t realise the side came with the fishy topping. :( Thought the portions of main were small for price point. Charming staff and really glad we visited! Thanks!
