Chef Fredrik Berselius brings his love of nature to his urban surroundings through food at Brooklyn's only two Michelin-starred restaurant. Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. Our beef is seasoned simply with sea salt and cooked over live-fire charcoal. Our seafood is locally and sustainably sourced from northeastern waters and we use small-farm produce whenever possible. On Sunday afternoons Hawksmoor keeps with the tried-and-true British tradition and features a Sunday Roast. Completing our offerings are award-winning cocktails, including New York City's coldest martini, and a carefully curated wine selection. The restaurant houses 150 in the dining room and 35 in the bar area. There are also two private dining rooms that can hold 12 people and serve exclusive, family-style menus.

    Only reason why i cant give full 5 stars is because i was dying to try the sirloin on the bone and at the time we got there (9 pm) they where out of most cuts to share.. besides that, cowboy was amazing and fillet as well… amazing beefy flavour and doneness… we visited from mexico and are hoping to be back soon..

    A cozy spot that gives all diners a taste and drink of Belgium. Great food and great atmosphere with service that is a Bronze Medal. The night my wife and I went along with my friend, B Café was far from busy and the waiter may as well have been on a milk cartoon. IYKYK on that analogy. To be equitable, this was the first time in our visits the service was so glacial.

    Outstanding as always. Missy the sommelier is outstanding, and every version of the one pairing is worth it. This is the most consistent Michelin restaurant I’ve ever been to (well more than TFL). Seriously outstanding. Already planning the next trip.

    We had the best experience here!! The service was absolutely outstanding, as was the food!! We came to NYC for my 10 year old’s birthday, and she said it was the best pasta she’s ever had. We will definitely be back!
