Fabulous Sunday lunch here. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was delicious and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Good value too. Hope to return one day.

The food and service were outstanding. The staff were very attentive and professional. The decor of the restaurant was lovely but we felt pinned in with our table which was in the main traffic area for staff and customers and as the room was quite small and busy we found it quite loud. We would return but maybe try the downstairs area as this was a lot bigger. The table and noise didn’t detract from our experience too much as we still enjoyed our time there but in a smaller room, possibly have a few tables less would be an idea

Fantastic restaurant with the most beautiful food and amazing service. Every visit has been fabulous, it really is worth paying that little bit extra for a guaranteed lovely time. Without doubt the best roast potatoes in the north east and cauliflower cheese if you go on a Sunday! We had the Festive Menu yesterday and it was great value. We had a wonderful time and the staff were as amazing as they always are. Thank you team Branches 💗

Christmas dinner 2024 - wonderful experience! Such a lovely atmosphere at this family friendly pub. The three of us all went for different options and each dish was delicious. The menu was well thought out and the ingredients high quality. Value was excellent but above all, the staff made the day extra special for us guests. If you’re looking for somewhere for a special occasion meal, look no further! We will definitely be back!
