Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. It's also home to the famous Perry hamburger."It's just a place to get some really nice hospitality, chill out and enjoy your day," Neil Perry. Sandwiched between Baker Bleu and Margaret, the indoor dining area is cosy and comfortable, with marble-top tables and an open bar and kitchen.

    Boatshed La Perouse has always been our favorite dining spot, and it did not disappoint during our Christmas lunch yesterday. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The ambiance set a perfect mood with its inviting atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious—everything we hoped for and more. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service. A young, charming gentleman named Prince took care of us, and I can’t express enough how attentive, friendly, and professional he was. His service was beyond excellent and made our meal even more special. Boatshed La Perouse is a true gem, and thanks to Prince’s impeccable hospitality, we left feeling truly valued and content.     An exceptionally good experience. Three flawless entrees with the crab salad the highlight. Excellent steak. Overall one of the highest quality meals I’ve had in Australia.

    Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, food incredible! We asked to move to a nicer table and it was all fine, slight mistake with the bill that was quickly sorted. Again food is incredible!
