Booking Office 1869 is offering an exciting new drinking and dining destination in the heart of King's Cross. The bar and restaurant is open from 12:00pm to Midnight every day.Menus have been conceived under the culinary direction of Executive chef Julien Maisonneuve and Head chef Jack Hazell with a complementary cocktail offering conceptualised by the dedicated bar team. A reimagining of the station's original, 19th century ticket hall, celebrated French designer Hugo Toro has created a Victorian-style Winter Garden, showcasing a visual dialogue with the space's extraordinary heritage.

The brasserie, originally designed by the acclaimed Martin Brudnizki, showcases elegant 1920s Art Deco interiors that include rich wood panelling, brass fixtures and a vintage station clock. The menu is inspired by the warmth and elegance of the grand railway station restaurants of Paris, such as Le Train Bleu at Gare de Lyon and Café de la Paix at Gare Saint-Lazare. Highlights include Escargot de Bourgogne with garlic and parsley butter, French onion soup with Gruyère croutons and Saucisse de Morteau aux lentilles. Fantastic setting. We had a table by the window with amazing view of the river. Excellent service and all staff so friendly. Very special tea. Delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Couldn’t finish the cakes so our lovely waitress boxed them up for us. We were there for a 3.45 slot so watched day turn to night and all the London lights come on while we enjoyed our tea. A wonderful way to celebrate the festive season.

We had a wonderful experience, tasty and well presented food, a beautiful dinning room and excellent service. Throughly loved it.
