Situated under the atmospherically delightful Arthur Probsthain Oriental and African Bookseller (est. 1903 no less), Tea and Tattle is a very English escape from the stiff upper lips of the busy streets above. We booked for Christmas Day and we could not fault anything. All the staff were wonderful and the food was exceptional - we were very well looked after and our day was very special

Great all round first time experience at L'Oscar. Lovely setting and quality feel to the hotel public areas. Chicken Caesar salad was the best I've ever had, and I've had quite a few! Difficult to find any faults - The only negative was the price of after dinner coffees. (Unnecessarily expensive).
