Meanwhile, the Bierhalle below is where history and merriment collide, offering a spirited space for companionship, games, and the shared joy of storied adventures.Please note:- The Waldhaus is designated as a historical building and such has stairs to access all areas.- The Bierhalle and Billardhalle only take limited reservations, otherwise operating on a first-come, first-served basis- Regrettably the Waldhaus does not take reservations for its patio due to the unpredictability of mountain weather however, we will do our best to accommodate patio requests on a per case basis.

    This is one of our favourite places to stay and eat. A beautiful view of the valley and a cozy spot in front of the fire. Dinner was wonderful with a great cocktail and wine selection. Everyone is very friendly and fun. A very special getaway experience.

    We had an amazing evening! Everything was impeccable from the moment we arrived. The service, food, and drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend the steak and short ribs. Perfection!

    This was the perfect place for dinner on a Wednesday evening – it wasn't busy and we were seated right away, even though we were early for our reservation. We ordered the Sawback (spicy pineapple) and hard root beer cocktails and they were great. For dinner, we had the rotisserie chicken sandwich and the bison burger, and the portions were huge and the food was amazing. The fries are super crispy. Highly recommend!

    The Bluebird is wonderful in every way. We loved the ambiance perhaps most of all, but everything was five stars. I wish we’d found it earlier in our stay in Banff, as we would’ve eaten here or enjoyed the cozy bar more than once. Highly recommend!
