Krazy Kat's Restaurant is housed in a renovated blacksmith shop, complete with one of the original forges. It is known as much for its creative cuisine as its whimsical décor, which features tiger-print chairs and portraits of military-garbed cats and dogs. The Restaurant seats 60 between the Main Dining Room and the Sun Room. Serving dinner daily and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Business casual attire. Dinner reservations are appreciated. Dinner for four on New Year's Day was superb. The seafood platters, clams with linguine, veal piccata, stuffed mushrooms, wedge salad and dessert were delicious and perfectly presented. Drinks were also excellent, and our waiter was very attentive and entertaining. The restaurant was so cozy on a cold winter evening, and we lingered until we were a bit late for our Longwood Christmas entry reservation! All in all, a perfect evening in Chadds Ford. Would highly recommend this iconic restaurant.
