We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. Great views, wonderful service and food was outstanding. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and they had confetti on table and a signed bday card for him! Brought him out a slice of the most amazing cake with a candle. Made the whole experience really great.

Our table was ready on time as we walked in the door. The restaurant was busy and had a cheerful vibe. Our server greeted us promptly and began to bring us water, menus etc and take our order. The food came up quickly and tasted great. What’s not to like?

The rice cakes are a staple and delicious as always, the Muscovy duck was new as was the winter root vegetables, which were both excellent. Don't sleep on the sauces they are each nestled in, it takes these 2 dishes to the next level.
