Our mission is to deliver a unique Latin Fusion dining and drinking experience. Tequila Escape takes great pride in our menu offerings of food creatively and freshly prepared to order from sustainable, organic, wild caught, and grass-fed and local sources. Every drink is meticulously crafted using only the freshest juices, fruits and quality ingredients. All in service to our ultimate objective: unqualified fulfillment of our guests' heart and soul. Our goal is to excite and delight each and every guest with our innovative food and drink offerings, and attention to personalized care and service. We are open daily for lunch and dinner. We also are available to cater both on and off-site events.

The restaurant is named after America’s most famous founding father, Benjamin Franklin. While he was pinnacle in America’s birth, he also became the first ambassador to France. While on trips to Paris, he would wine and dine with the best of them and when he returned, he would bring back the French culture, food and wine, and share it with our new nation. Dishes like Potato Lyonnaise and Crème Brulée were the first of his favorites he shared with America. The Benjamin reflects that bridged gap between the two countries’ cultures. The restaurant and bar is french-inspired, but uniquely American. It sits in Ridgefield's historic district in a 1875 house, but the interiors are modern, elegant and new. Chef prepares dishes like Mussels, Foie Gras, Shrimp Toast, Chicken, Halibut, Duck, and more.

Here, Jean‑Georges cultivates a truly seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England, whenever possible. Constructed in 1833 as a residence and serving later as an inn, the building has been painstakingly renovated to preserve as many of the original materials as possible, including four working fireplaces. Thomas Juul-Hansen designed the restaurant’s interior with a modern yet rustic sensibility; zinc and marble accent stone and reclaimed wood. The restaurant’s lighting, artfully conceived by Hervé Descottes, employs paper shades and Edison fixtures to create warmth throughout.

    What a find. We live no where near South Salem, but saw this place on Facebook and decided to give it a try for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had no real expectations, but it had to exceed any we MIGHT have had. The food was delicious and the decor warm and welcoming, BUT the best thing about the la Vista was the wait staff. Everyone one of them showed that they truly love what they do. They all were so attentive. We liked it so much we're going back next weekend wand we're bringing some family with us.

    Five ladies who lunch had a wonderful experience on ALL levels. The food was exceptionally good - everyone enjoyed their chosen dishes. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food, wine and cocktails. Valet parking is always appreciated too. A wonderful lunch and we were not rushed out after we’d finished wasting. Totally delightful on all counts.
