The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.We are now open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is offered six nights a week, Monday-Saturday. We are unable to guarantee a seating preference of indoors or outdoors. Gjelina is a restaurant specializing in New American cuisine. Open every day from 8 a.m. until 11pm, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.     We were greeted very nicely and seated right away. Loved the flame on the yummy upgraded Burning Mandarin cocktail! Lychee elixir (non-alcoholic) was delicious as well. As always all dishes were outstanding starting with crunchy Brussels sprouts, spicy tuna on crispy rice, crab hand rolls, yellowtail sashimi and Katsuya roll. Chocolate lava cake was a hot for dessert. Top notch service throughout, can’t wait to go back!

    New Years Day and we wanted some place that we knew would be fantastic, so where else but Gjelina? It was busy but the hosts and servers were unfailingly polite. We ordered 6 things from the menu. My wife's vegan so she had the vegetable sandwich (she had to fight me for it, it was so good). Brussel sprouts, grilled fennel, and the frites were all great. My son and I split the anchovy and burrata toast - a first for me - and it's my new favorite. Finished with the excellent pomodoro pizza - no cheese and none needed, because the jammy tomato confit is the star of the dish. I love this place. It never lets me down. Happy 2025!
