It's the original Dublin gastropub at over 100 years old.Anybody who is familiar with Dublin pub food will be aware of Davy Byrne’s food reputation, in which seafood is the speciality.If you visit the premises at lunchtime and evening time, you will witness the huge trade which is done in fresh Seafood, Wagyu Burgers and pub classics like Fish & Chips. There is also a full range of Salads and Sandwiches to compliment these and, as often as not, you can enjoy Oysters and Guinness.The classic Gorgonzola sandwich with a glass of Burgundy as mentioned in Ulysses is available every day.Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate strollers/buggies indoors at Davy Byrnes but subject to availability, we can at our outside terraced area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    This was our first restaurant on our trip to Dublin and we absolutely loved it! We were able to get one of the last reservations available for the next 2 weeks and had dinner at 9pm. We were greeted and sat immediately and service was wonderful. My partner and I both ordered an espresso martini and it was delicious. We then split the fish and chips for our main entree and it was incredible! For a side, we ordered the Brussel sprouts and roasted carrots and those were both phenomenal. 10/10 highly recommend!

    Amazing restaurant with great service. The ambiance was sensational and just right. It is a very intimate setting that makes you feel like you are in an exclusive restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant as the value you get for your money is incredible. You can easily pay more for the same meal somewhere else, but I wouldn't recommend that. If I am ever back in Dublin again, I will come back.

    I celebrated my birthday at Portobello bar, and it was such a warm and inviting place! The ambiance was perfect for both family gatherings and more formal get-togethers. Everyone had a wonderful time, and we all left with happy memories of the night.
