Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. I thought the food was amazing. We made a couple of requests like a birthday dessert and a window seat which were met. We had a young girl serve our table and she was awesome. Over all great birthday dinner for Dad :-)

lovely meal as always. However lots of new staff, and trying to get a clear order was difficult . There is no kids menu, but they said they the would give a smaller portion size, which is fine, however, they kept getting confused with which meal was a kids meal and which wasnt - and we had to go back and forth with the waiters approx 5 times to confirm/ Other than that, it was a lovely meal. My recommendation would be to get a Kids Menu - it can be the same as the main menu but it will just make it clear to them what people are ordering.

Food was excellent as always, and great service. It is pricey but also servings are huge - I’d happily reduce both by 25% and still walk away full instead of wasting anything.
