Boiler House at Pearl is a true Texas original. Situated in the historic Pearl Brewery complex on the San Antonio River Walk, this wine-centric restaurant occupies the former “boiler house” which powered the adjacent brewery.     My wife and I ate dinner at Brenner’s on a Wednesday evening. The place was busy but our reservation was ready on time. Our waiter, Daniel, was superb. knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive and helpful. His suggested appetizer of bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp was absolutely superb. We both ate the short rib with mole and grits, honestly one of the best dishes either of us has eaten in a long time. Wines by the glass were acceptable in quality and price. Clearly we did not eat or drink from the high end of the menu which would have been way over the top in price, but what we chose was fair value. Overall a very good experience.

    Amazing cocktails! In a city with many steak houses available, this is certainly in the top 5. Expansive menu. Not Tex-Mex. Will definitely be back.

    Beautiful view of the river and nice live country music at the Saturday night live fire dinner show. Food just kept coming out😊 and everything was delivered hot and fresh including the corn, macaroni and potatoes and even chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. I had the steak 🥩 and it was cooked perfectly as i ordered it. My girl had the red snapper with mango salsa and she loved it
