Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames. Its food meant to be paired with an inventive botanical cocktail and enjoyed outside on our expansive shaded patio.We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.Parties of 7-10 people are required to make a deposit of $150.00 and parties of 11 or more, email esv-privatedining@eataly.com to secure the date. We believe wine is better with food & food is better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy..often. Our unique approach to food and wine means we are "wine first". We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. What a lovely experience. The restaurant is small, intimate, and the chefs and owners do their best to personalize the experience and interact with each diner. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. The food was excellent, of course, but I enjoyed the atmosphere just as much!

Everything was excellent. When we travel to San Jose to visit our son, this is our favorite spot. We choose this restaurant 3 or 4 times a week during our visits. Yesterday and today were the same great experiences.

We attended the Heitz Cellars winemaker blending session. The session was so much fun and interesting. The steak dinner following the event was perfectly prepared. The mushrooms were amazing. The service exceptional! Another great night at the Tasting House.
