Blue Bovine combines the traditional steakhouse with the traditional Japanese sushi house to fashion a distinctly modern dining experience. Combining custom elements, such as exclusively designed Canadian maple wood furniture, manufactured in Toronto with bespoke artwork, handcrafted lighting details, and a warm colour palette of deep reds, seawater blues and layers of white to reflect Toronto's four seasons. It was great having Chef Bennet come out and introduce us to a dish. U can feel that the tasting menu is coming from Chef Bennett's Root (South Africa). The menu was very earthy and exciting from dish to dish. The Juice pairing that was offered was great as well.

Waitress was a big aggressive about collecting a money deposit for tables larger than 6. Once dinner was stated they broke a glass bottle on the table while serving .

Wow.. This restaurant left me and my partner absolutely at a loss for words. Before I begin HUGE shout out to the most amazing server I've ever met, Graham. He really curated our experience and brought a personal yet professional level of excitement to our dining experience. Every dish was crafted with immense care and quality. The story behind the dishes and the flavour profile was nothing short of a immaculate dining experiences. Huge thank you to Chef Daniele for exceptional food and a wonderful conversation. My god that venison tartare was amazing , and the porcini crema pizza And the pici noodles with the wild boar ragu paired with a brunello transported me back to montalcino Best staff ! And the candy cane and egg nog ice creams were both delicious !
