Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables. Walk-in guests are welcome to enjoy the bar area as well.The Dabney has been awarded one Michelin star every year since 2017, James Beard Foundation Best Chef Mid-Atlantic for Chef Jeremiah Langhorne in 2018, and Washingtonian Magazine's #1 restaurant in 2023. Perfect pregame spot. Good food, good service, prices good for area and well below inside the arena. 5:15/5:30 was great timing to enjoy food and have plenty of time to get to seats and enjoy some pregame activities. Nachos are great as an app for 2-4 people or a meal for 1-2.

We visit DC eve RT January, and are always looking for restaurant that deserves a repeat visit. We finally found one! Wonderful southern style menu with unique and tasty twists. Definitely try the Sweetbread and Waffles!

The food at Floriana was as good as I have had in DC. The entrance to the restaurant is desceiving as it is a top range lace to eat in DC. I’d you have a a chance to eat here, please do so.
