From the moment we stepped into DaNico, we were struck by how beautiful the space was. The high ceilings, artwork, and dark colour tones created a dramatic and refined atmosphere. It felt like the perfect setting for a special evening. The attention to detail extended to the glassware and plateware, which were both elegant and intriguing, adding an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The service was impeccable. From the moment we entered, the staff were warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. When confirming our reservation, we mentioned a dietary restriction, and to our delight, our server was already aware of it when greeting us. They thoughtfully provided tailored suggestions, which made us feel genuinely cared for. As for the food, every dish showcased incredible depth of flavour and texture. The creativity in the menu was evident and much appreciated, making each bite a delight to savour. The cocktail menu had a great mix of creative drinks, and I loved that there were some really interesting non-alcoholic options too. As someone who is dairy-free, dessert is often an afterthought at most restaurants, but DaNico surprised us with dairy-free desserts that were both indulgent and satisfying—a rare and much-appreciated treat! Overall, DaNico delivered on all fronts—ambiance, service, and cuisine. It was a memorable experience.

It was great having Chef Bennet come out and introduce us to a dish. U can feel that the tasting menu is coming from Chef Bennett's Root (South Africa). The menu was very earthy and exciting from dish to dish. The Juice pairing that was offered was great as well.

Paese is our dining room away from home. We have never been disappointed.

Fantastic food , especially the lamb shoulder was exquisite. The service was outstanding . I wish i remembered the server’s name because he was a very polite, professional and great. I would love to visit again. My wife and I had a great time on our anniversary dinner and the that place made sure that we felt it was incredible and special.

We were celebrating a work anniversary milestone. Staff were wonder, got all our orders correct and the food was delicious. We were 6 of us, everyone ordered a pizza and we got two large salads to share. Salads came out first and we had time to eat them before the pizzas came out. Allergies accommodated perfectly.
