A laid back country style pub with a stunning private dining room and honest cooking showcasing the best farms in the UK. In the bar we serve craft beers, wine from family-owned vineyards only, aperitif cocktails and a selection of local hand pulled ales.

The Albion is a Georgian gem left over from a time when Islington was fields and farmland, and where the regulars would take afternoon walks out of the city to visit us. We have a lovely garden which resembles places found in the South of France, with the wisteria blooming and the willow creating a nice and relaxed atmosphere. In the back of the garden there is an old barn which used to be a bar, and the rumour is that the Sex Pistols played their first concert in the barn. Inside, the log fires create a lovely atmosphere during the cold months, where you can wrap up and enjoy a drink or food both in our dining room and bar areas. We are frequented by regulars from our local area as well as their dogs. We happily provide both water and biscuits for visiting dogs and love to have them around.

Loved our corner round table - service 2nd to none - sorry if I didn’t pay attention to the waiters enough but my friend was on a total roll with the banter - the coffee at the end was the icing on the top - all to perfection! Thank you - we be back soon!

Fantastic evening - staff were exceptional as was the food and the vibe was just perfect. Really buzzing. Families friends birthdays all sorts of celebrations going on. A real taste of Puglia in Islington. Loved it.

Tasty food, good prices, nice atmosphere. We went for a Sunday roast with my family and sat at the upper floor which was more quiet. The service was great and the food and wine was very nice.
