Rossella is the pride and joy of owner and local Kentish Town resident Luca Meola, the result of family tradition dating back decades:1960: the Meola family opened the first Rossella restaurant in Benevento, Italy, combining products from their family vineyard with their love for food.1978: Luca’s father moved to the UK, made London his home and opened a trattoria where young Luca learned the ropes and discovered his talent for cooking.2011: Luca seized the chance to open his own restaurant aged just nineteen, naming it after the original Rossella restaurant in homage to his roots, and was swiftly embraced by the Kentish Town community. Patron Restaurant is a Parisian style brasserie offering a carefully selected list of fine French wines & boutique cocktails alongside France’s most iconic dishes cooked over wood fire. Dinner menu includes classic signature dishes like the crispy duck confit with red wine reduction, hand-cut steak tartare, garlic snails and modern twists such as deep fried dauphinois with sriracha mayonnaise, oysters topped with champagne eggs and plates piled high with guilt-free chocolate mousse. The atmosphere is romantic, friendly and full of authentic French charm, with intimate bistro tables, handmade curved marble-top bar, new large dining room with period features, 1920's spirit lounge & Parisian outdoor terrace. Tables are also available to book for larger groups as well as birthday parties, wedding receptions, photo shoots & private events for up to 120 guests. Set menus, canapé selections, bespoke catering options and event extras like an oyster bar or champagne tower available.

Fire led modern European cooking, served in a warm vibrant dining room. Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month, for groups up to 6 guests. Bookings for January will open on the 1st of December at 10am. For larger groups please email bookings@theparakeetpub.com. We serve our A la Carte menu Monday to Saturday, and Roasts on Sundays.

Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.Nose to tail eating means that, where appropriate, every part of the animal should be put to good use in the kitchen and so along with Roast Beef and Lemon Sole, diners will find Rolled Pig’s Spleen, Kidneys and Ox Heart, Liver and Chitterlings as well as the Roast Bone Marrow & Parsley Salad, something of a ‘signature’ dish.
