Serving inventive Japanese cuisine using the freshest seafood from Tokyo’s famed Tsukiji market and local New England fishermen, and borrowing influence from the streets of Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok and Bangladesh, Uni is the evolution of Ken Oringer’s intimate sashimi bar of the same name, which expanded into the former Clio space in 2016. UNI is currently helmed by Executive Chef David Bazirgan.

Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta. Signature dishes like Chicken Under a Brick, Grilled Octopus and Orecchiette with Sausage have become instant classics. Seasonal menu updates incorporate flavors from local farmers and purveyors. The crudo menu changes daily - think Nantucket bay scallops and razor clams along with Japanese and European delicacies like shima aji and lubina. All are expertly prepared with bright touches of citrus, oils and salts. Reserve in the dining room for a family dinner or date night. Enjoy the bar and lounge for bar snacks and a great burger. A private dining room is available for a business event or intimate party for up to 12. Shore Leave is our interpretation of a tropical escape through the lens of our love for Boston’s rich dining scene. Named after a sailor’s leisure time on dry land, Shore Leave’s tropical cocktails take you away from the hustle and bustle. This space, music, and most importantly, our Shore Leave team, make every moment here feel like watching the sun go down with your feet in the sand. Off the main drag, just below the street in Boston’s South End, Shore Leave brings you along on an everyday vacation. Options are available for regular dining or the OMAKASE at SHORE LEAVE EXPERIENCE. We do not take reservations for "just drinks", so cancellation fees will apply. Just drinks-walk in for bar seats! Owner Brian Piccini is proud of his award-winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay.     food was as good as ever. A few new editions to the menu since the last time we were there. Eggplant was great!! Chicken under the Brick is still as good as ever! Still one of the best in Boston.

    Bistro du Midi is my new favorite French restaurant. The downstairs felt like a nice cocktail bar, while the upstairs felt like an intimate slice of Paris. The food was incredible! It is on the menu, I highly recommend the beet gnocchi as an appetizer. My girlfriend and I had the duck breast, ora king salmon, with a side of cauliflower. Each bite left us feeling satisfied with the craving to have more . Well worth it for the experience, and the service was exceptional. I cannot wait until we eat here again!

    Amazing food! Always love taking the recommendations of the staff for what to try to always have something new and experience new fish. Definitely recommend being adventurous!
