Join us at Aunt Jake's Upper East Side for our Pasta Making Class & 3-course pasta menu! The cost is $60 per person for pasta instruction and the prefix meal. We require a $10 per person non-refundable deposit. The entire experience is approximately 2.5 hours. Please use the OpenTable mobile app for best results when booking the Pasta Experience.–Aunt Jake's was founded in 2015, as the company set out to replicate the idyllic, simplistic cuisine we grew up to enjoy. However, we wanted to create Italian food for the “next” generation. The idea was to develop an Italian concept around the customer’s choice of how to eat pasta compared to how the restaurant wanted you to eat it. With that in mind, Aunt Jake’s core mission is to bring high-quality fresh ingredients daily to craft our handmade pasta and sauces health-consciously. The customer can mix and match sauce with shape and create a custom dish of their own.

Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. The centerpiece of our first dining room is our 8-seat, 200-year-old hinoki wood sushi bar and traditional ice chest, where Chef Noz refrigerates the evening's neta selections. Our second dining room features a sushi bar made from tamo ash wood, which accommodates an additional 6 guests. We welcome our guests in true Japanese hospitality, offering two nightly seatings at each counter.

Noz Market first opened its doors in October 2020, providing New Yorkers with a resource for high-end seafood, Japanese accoutrements, and delicious prepared sushi and sashimi.‍Past the hand roll bar and market front, a bamboo-lined hallway gives way to an intimate 10-seat counter where guests choose from two menu options: the Classic Menu ($80/person) and the Chef's Menu ($155/person). Lunch Omakase ($80/person) is available from Friday-Sunday.At our table seating, we offer an la carte menu of plated dishes, many of which also appear on our delivery menu.Reservations for our omakase counter and back tables are now available seven days a week.     I purchased the pasta making experience as part of my fiancé’s Christmas present. He loves good fresh Italian food and Aunt Jake’s did not disappoint. The food was amazing the class was very explanatory and easy to follow. This is an exceptional value. I will say the only down side is that the space to work and learn is a little tight but hey most places in NYC are. If you are looking for delicious pasta and an amazing experience Aunt Jake’s is for you!

    Very good omakase experience. The chef was very nice and communicative about what he was serving. Patient with our desire to take videos and pictures. Food was very fresh and larger portions than other places. The wagyu beef was worth the added price. The omakase was in the back away from the general restaurant which seems to be filled up as well.

    We went for the prefix Thanksgiving dinner. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was wonderful. I love the restaurant. The downside was that it wasn't clear to me that it was buffet style until I got to the restaurant. The buffet area was small and hard to maneuver through with the heavy crowd. The other issue was the food wasn't hot, it was luke warm at best... potatoes cold. The taste and quality of the food was excellent. I would only do Thanksgiving there again if it was a prefixed menu and I was served at the table. With all of this said, every other time I go to this restaurant it's always excellent
