Toro, in Boston, helmed by James Beard Award-winning chef, Ken Oringer, serves delectable Spanish tapas dishes in its contemporary and charming restaurant. The tortilla Española with a kale, egg, potato and onion omelet and the Boquerón's white anchovies in vinegar and olive oil make excellent pintxos starters. Some of Toro's most vibrant and delectable tapas plates include the chicken empanada de pollo with charred tomato salsa, the salt cod fritter croquettes de Bacalao with tempura lemon rings and the asado de huesos roasted bone marrow with oxtail marmalade. Equally inventive cocktails, such as the morning star with spicy gin, dark rum, citrus and ginger beer and the tinto de verano with red wine mixed with lemon-lime soda.Toro's weekend brunch plates include the salchicha y huevos jalapeno maple sausage, fried eggs and crispy potatoes and along with other plates, make it a prime brunch spot.

Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta. Signature dishes like Chicken Under a Brick, Grilled Octopus and Orecchiette with Sausage have become instant classics. Seasonal menu updates incorporate flavors from local farmers and purveyors. The crudo menu changes daily - think Nantucket bay scallops and razor clams along with Japanese and European delicacies like shima aji and lubina. Named after a sailor’s leisure time on dry land, Shore Leave’s tropical cocktails take you away from the hustle and bustle. This space, music, and our Shore Leave team, make every moment here feel like watching the sun go down with your feet in the sand. Off the main drag, just below the street in Boston’s South End, Shore Leave brings you on an everyday vacation. Options are available for regular dining or the OMAKASE EXPERIENCE. Tucked away down a narrow hallway, No Relation is a nine-seat, secret sushi restaurant nestled within Shore Leave, a tropical experience from the team at Bar Mezzana and Black Lamb. Chef Colin Lynch leads the inventive omakase menu, where Japanese technique and his creative interpretation of a sushi-ya are presented each evening over approximately 14 courses. Join us in a shared intimate experience with a thoughtfully curated menu, served directly by our chefs. A magnetized world map will highlight the areas from which the menus fish is sourced. Luxurious extras, like Black Truffle and Ossetra Caviar, can be added on during your experience. Towards the end of the omakase, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy extra bites.

    We ate here for my husband’s birthday, also Valentine’s Day. The server, Morgan was great. She even sang Happy birthday to my hubby! My dish was a little spicy but my husband loved his steak and shrimp. I had requested a high top because it’s seems a little quieter. Overall, I highly recommend. Best to reserve in advance.

    This place never disappoints! It was a perfect place to go for Valentine’s Day! As usual the food and drinks were delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating with food allergies. Thank you! Can’t wait to go back.

    I dont go to fancy restaurants as often as I should. It makes me nervous but it was for me and my wife’s Valentines dinner date I had planned a month in advance. We went there and everything was perfect. The servers were kind and helped us with what we needed. It was definitely a memory that will last a lifetime that I am thankful for. The food was all cooked perfectly and I couldnt find anything to complain about even if I tried.
