Offering a 4 course tasting menu in the front dining room and a 7 course tasting menu in the communal chefs kitchen table. The menu showcases dishes of Michoacan, Mexico featuring both traditional and international ingredients, flair and flavors. Experience brought to you by chef Regino Rojas, multi time nominated chef for James Beard Award and numerous accolades all together. Purepecha was named Best Tasting Menu by D Magazine August 2024 issue, named Best Restaurant by D magazine December 2023 issue. Please contact us directly for groups up to 14 people. Unable to accommodate to vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian, these requests will not be accepted. Thank you for understanding. No shows and cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will be charged a $120-$180 cancellation fee per person.     My sweetheart and I went to celebrate his birthday today (his birthday is on Christmas Day). Overall, it was a nice dinner, a bit pricey for two people and small portions. I had the tortellini, and you don’t get much even for the Sinner option and could’ve been cooked a little longer, but it wasn’t bad. We also had the short ribs, and they were very tender and would recommend them. The broccolini was good and the mac & cheese was decent. For his birthday, we selected the cheesecake, and that was really good. Our server was great. It’s a nice spot for a date night and low-key birthday dinner. Great ambience, but it did get busy for Christmas Eve and the noise level was a little high, but overall we enjoyed it.

    Overall super solid and will return. Ken was our waiter, and he (and the rest of the staff) were really great. Thoughts on what we had: ▪️MANGO MEZCALRITA: expensive smoky orange juice ▪️ LUCA PARETTI PROSECCO: really good ▪️ PRETZEL BREAD: super cute and yummy ▪️ TUNA TARTARE: solid and would order again ▪️ CATCH ROLL: loved ▪️ FILET SKEWER: lots of good flavor, might get again ▪️ MEDITERRANEAN BRANZINO: didn’t finish and wouldn’t order again but probably personal taste here. The lemon was strong in the rice and the butter was def present with the fish ▪️ TRUFFLE MUSHROOM SPAGHETTI: super yummy, friend said shrimp didn’t add to the dish

    Local has become one of our favorite restaurants in the area! The chef is amazing at the food she produces. We love everything about this place. While it does not have a full bar (no hard liquor but wine and sake are prevalent), it makes up for it in what is available to drink and the pairings with food. Can’t wait to go back there!

    Always a good experience with staff, valet parking available, food is always fresh, location is close to downtown. Nice boutique hotel surrounding the eatery. Enjoy the craft cocktails.
