Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm. Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays. Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day. Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day. We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served. Please note that there will be a 25% service charge applied to all bills. This goes to pay our staff equitably as well as provide health and other benefits not typically offered in restaurants.

    This was our first time and it was amazing!! We will definitely be back. We came for Valentines day weekend and ate from the prefixed Valentines menu for 2. Everything came out perfect and the portion sizes were more than enough. We were in a back room area that was much more quiet and intimate than the bar area that you see when you walk in, which is what we wanted. Our server was fantastic too. 10/10 !!!!

    We had a nice time for Valentines. My wife loved that they accommodated us even tho we were late due to the snowstorm. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! We had the tasting menu with a four course meal. Highly recommended for date night’s and anyone just looking for a good venue, with music and tasty food.

    Citrine Cafe has become our favorite Oak Park neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food, outstanding service, and an unusual, inventive wine list. Always a treat, whether we come for a special occasion or just a weeknight nosh.
