Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

Visiting CDMX on vacation. Enjoyed the Pork Belly sandwich and Shoyu soup restaurant. Our waiter Ernesto was excellent. He was able to explain the menu and help us decide on the starters, main course, and drinks.

Great experience overall. Would definitely return. Our last course took a while to come out but the kitchen threw in an extra dish for free. Totally understandable because it was busy. Servers were very kind and fast.

Excelente lugar. Gran servicio y gran calidad de todo lo que pedimos. Lo mejor es sentarse frente a la barra para ver a los chef en acción. Recomiendo pedir los packs de Nigris.

Fui a Casa Prunes y la experiencia fue excelente. Desde que llegué, el servicio fue de primera; todos fueron muy profesionales y atentos. La comida estaba deliciosa, bien presentada y con mucho sabor. El lugar tiene una ambientación bonita y acogedora, ideal para pasar un buen rato. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y espero volver pronto.
